Cervélo Bicycles with Aura Pro Handlebars
Check against the official notice below — it lists the full affected range.
3T Design is recalling Cervélo P-Series bicycles from 2013 that are equipped with Aura Pro handlebars because the handlebar clamps can detach while riding, which could cause the rider to lose control and become injured. The affected bicycles are the P3 with Shimano Ultegra and P5 Three with SRAM Red models, which come in black, gray, and red color combinations. The handlebars are finished in gloss black and display "3T," "AURA-PRO," and "ULTIMATE-PERFORMANCE" in white lettering on the top surface.
Consumers who own affected bicycles should stop riding them immediately and contact 3T Design. The company will provide a free repair kit containing four replacement bolts and instructions for replacing the handlebar bolts. Consumers can either follow the instructions to perform the repair themselves or take their bicycle to a Cervélo authorized dealer for a free repair.
