What happened

Yuba Bicycles is recalling Mundo V4 cargo bikes because passengers' feet can get caught in the rear wheel, which poses a foot injury hazard. The recalled bicycles are 26-inch bikes with steel frames, aluminum fenders, and a wood utility deck on the rear cargo rack. They come in orange, black, or blue, with "Mundo" printed on the top tube and "Yuba" on the down tube. The affected serial numbers range from ADA11A008000 to ACA12D018000, which can be found on the kickstand plate.

Consumers who own a recalled Mundo V4 cargo bike should immediately stop using it and contact Yuba Bicycles. The company will provide free wheel covers (wheelskirts) and install them at no cost.
