CCM Hockey is recalling FMHVR Hybrid Visors and ACCHVR Replacement Visor Accessories because the visors can crack when hit, creating a risk of injury from cuts or impact. The recalled FMHVR visors have serial numbers starting with "M/L" or "S/M" and are marked "HVR" at the top of the metal plate, while recalled ACCHVR accessories have serial numbers beginning with "SR." The serial number can be found engraved on the inside of the visor on the right-hand-side metal plate.
Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled products. Those with access to a participating CCM retailer can return the visor or accessory for a free replacement, choosing from the FV1 full visor, FM780 combo cage, or FM580 combo cage. Consumers can locate a participating retailer at https://us.ccmhockey.com/product/storelocator. For those without access to a participating retailer, CCM will provide a prepaid return envelope when contacted directly, and will ship a replacement after receiving the recalled product back.

Consumers should stop using the recalled visors and visor accessories immediately and return the products to the nearest participating retailer for a free replacement. Consumers without access to a participating retailer should contact CCM directly and CCM will send a return prepaid envelope for the return of the recalled product. CCM will ship a replacement upon receipt of the returned recalled product.
This recall involves the CCM Hybrid Hockey Visors, style FMHVR and replacement visor accessories, style ACCHVR.
