KTM North America Recalls Off-Road Motorcycles Due to Risk of Serious Injury or Death from Crash Hazard

What happened

KTM North America is recalling 2021, 2022, 2023, and 2024 GASGAS and Husqvarna off-road motorcycles because the rear brake caliper can crack or break, which reduces the effectiveness of the brake system and creates a risk of serious injury or death from crashes. The affected GASGAS models are red with white GASGAS logos on the shrouds, while the Husqvarna models are white, blue, and yellow with Husqvarna logos on the shrouds. The VIN and number are located on the right side of the steering head.

Consumers who own a recalled motorcycle should stop riding it immediately and contact an authorized GASGAS or Husqvarna Motorcycle dealer to schedule a free repair at the dealership.
