TooyBing Wooden Bead Stacking Toys Recalled Due to Risk of Serious Injury or Death from Choking; Violate Small Parts Ban

What happened

TooyBing Wooden Bead Stacking Toys (model TB-MZWJ) are being recalled because the wooden beads pose a choking hazard to young children. The toys are intended for children under three years old but violate the small parts ban due to this hazard. The recalled product consists of 25 colored wooden beads, two wood sticks with string laces, eight pattern cards, and a wooden pegged stand.

According to the record, consumers should stop using the toys immediately and take them away from children. Consumers must contact TooyBing to arrange a free replacement. To complete the recall process, consumers should cut the red and yellow string laces, write "RECALLED" in permanent marker on the wooden pegged stand, send a photo of the destroyed toy to tooybingwoodenbeadrecall@gmail.com, and dispose of the destroyed product. Compliant replacement toys will not be available until October, and consumers will need to register to receive a replacement when it becomes available.
